Womens BJJ 2019

Moving Forward Together in 2019

2018 was funny old year with no real beginning, or middle, a bit stop start with lots of things kicking off and ending in my life in different places. This is probably reflected by the fact that I didn’t start posting on Instagram again until September 2018!! But what a crazy few months it’s been since then.

I wanted to take a moment to start this year as I mean to go on, with a new blog and the first thing I want to do is say thank you. Thank you to everyone of you who continues to like, share and comment on all our posts. Thank you for consistently tagging @realbjjgirls in stories, events, promotions and pictures of your amazing female teams.

This site and all its social channels was born out of a desire to show the real heart of what we do. To shine the light on the everyday women and girls who give their all in BJJ. We all know how much BJJ has been a benefit to our own lives and I really want other women to see a part of themselves in what we do. For others to feel inspired to take that next step on their journey. The only way I can do this is if the stories I share continue to be about you all. So thank you for being a part of that, without me really ever having to ask. It really does bring a huge smile to my face and I do a little happy dance when BJJ Girls is tagged in new stories. Keep tagging and I might just do a demo of that dance!

What’s next for BJJ Girls in 2019

So here we are at the start of 2019 and I need to ask you for more, tell me more, share more, take more pictures on the mats and share your victories with us all. From making more time for yourself to train, to stepping up to do your first comp. Share what real BJJ Girls are doing.

I am fully at your disposal to support this. This website and all its channels can be used as a platform to give others a voice and I’m always open to discussing partnerships and collaborations. From photography, to filming, social media and article writing.

If you have a story to share and would like to have it featured you can contact me directly at info@bjjgirls.co.uk and we will arrange a chat.
So thank you once again, sincerely it means the world to me, I receive so much positive feedback from other people that your content has encouraged them so please don’t stop.

I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings for women’s BJJ.
